Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in North Easton, MA, is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and assist with routine lab tasks. This role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends and an hourly pay range of $22.80–$24.45.

The position may include eligibility for annual bonus based on performance. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, medical training or phlebotomy coursework, and (where required) certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training or phlebotomy coursework preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, cleaning, filing, phones and email.
