Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Bend, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist I to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, collecting specimens and performing routine phlebotomy tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; medical training is preferred and phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in CA, NV and WA).

The pay starts at $21.80 per hour, with potential annual performance bonuses, and vaccination is required unless a medical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders and enter data in lab systems and billing as required.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and emailing.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete required training.
• Assist with statistics and data submission as needed.
