Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I for Trenton, MI, with a rotating schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The role includes specimen collection, data entry, and processing duties, with shift differentials offered for some hours.

Strong English communication required; HS diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy training preferred. This on-site position supports patient services and laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Navigate systems and accurately enter data; verify orders.
• Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete trainings timely.
