Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Morrisville, VT, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Pay range is $20.00–$21.45 per hour with potential annual bonus eligibility.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, order verification, data entry, and non-patient duties in a fast-paced clinical lab environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy training or certification is preferred, along with customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA/NV/WA.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain ID and billing information; collect payments as required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain departmental policies and logs; complete training timely.
