A leading healthcare diagnostics provider is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Grand Rapids, MI. This position involves specimen collection, maintaining logs, and processing samples in a timely manner. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and preferably one year of phlebotomy experience, along with a customer service background. The role offers competitive benefits and is scheduled every Monday and Wednesday with rotating Thursday through Sunday shifts.

Qualifications

• Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm orders.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Processing specimens, including labeling and centrifuging.
