Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Local Phlebotomist - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in The Villages, FL.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen processing, accurate labeling, and maintaining patient confidentiality while providing excellent service. This is a local contract role with a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday shifts after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy experience of at least 6 months is required.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Prepare, label, and process clinical and forensic specimens accurately.
• Provide clear patient communication while maintaining confidentiality.
• Complete documentation, logs, and data entry accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Follow all company policies, quality standards, and procedures.

Schedule: Mon - Fri with alternate Sat 5:30a-2:30p after training(40 hours/week)

Location: The Villages, FL 32163

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 3 months+

Pay Range: $19.85 - $21.26 per hour

Weekly gross pay is based on a taxable hourly wage and daily lodging and meals & incidentals stipends based on USA GSA guidelines.
