Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Phlebotomist for a high-volume Patient Service Center in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform venipuncture, collect and label specimens, and enter data into LIS with accuracy, supporting pre- and post-analytical processes.

The role requires 1+ year phlebotomy experience and strong data-entry skills. You will work on-site with a team, handle pediatric/geriatric collections when needed, and participate in newborn screening collections as required. Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• This role requires phlebotomy skills in a high-volume PSC.
• Candidates must perform venipuncture and specimen handling accurately.
• Data entry into LIS must be precise and timely.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws in a PSC setting.
• Collect, label, and receive biological specimens accurately.
• Enter patient and specimen data into systems correctly.
• Prepare specimens for testing and store as required.
• Distribute specimens to appropriate analytical departments promptly.
• Support pre- and post-analytical processes per procedures.
• Conduct specified analytical tests as assigned following protocols.
• Provide courteous, professional patient care in a high-volume setting.
• Collaborate with phlebotomists and lab staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with policies.
