• Experience with specimen processing and order of draw
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work independently in a clinic
• Familiarity with HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols
• Reliable, punctual, able to commute to Phoenix clinic

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following protocols
• Greet and assist patients professionally, ensuring a compassionate experience
• Verify patient identity and correctly label specimens
• Prepare specimens for courier pickup and testing
• Maintain specimen integrity and proper handling
• Enter patient and specimen data accurately in the lab system
• Follow HIPAA and safety guidelines at all times
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with clinic staff and supervisors
• Monitor and restock phlebotomy supplies
• Assist with cross-training and special tasks as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
