Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed a phlebotomy program or have phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receipt biological specimens within policy and procedure.
• Enter and verify patient demographics, tests and related data in the LIS/EMR.
• Label specimens, prepare samples for transport and assist with initial processing.
• Maintain quality and accuracy, meet productivity standards and participate in quality improvement.
• Communicate professionally with internal/external customers and support multiple locations.
