Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Hamilton, NJ. Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm with rotating Saturdays 7:00am-11:00am; travel to additional sites as needed.

You will collect specimens, enter patient data, and provide excellent customer service. A high school diploma or GED and 1+ year phlebotomy experience required; certification or accredited training preferred. Benefits and pay range are described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training program from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
