Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Florham Park, NJ team. Work schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am–4:00pm with one Saturday every other month 8:00am–3:30pm.

You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and customer service. Phlebotomists may work in Patient Service Centers or Client offices; compensation ranges from $17.75 to $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people skills are required.
• Customer service experience is beneficial.
• Phlebotomy education or certification as specified.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
