Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Hackettstown, NJ team. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, with responsibilities including venipuncture, specimen handling, billing support, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualification includes a high school diploma or GED and 6+ months as a phlebotomist; certification or accredited training is preferred. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
