Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Red Bank, NJ. The role involves venipuncture, specimen collection, data entry, billing support, and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 6 months+ phlebotomy experience; a phlebotomy certification or accredited training is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 9:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
