Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Chula Vista, CA. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and provide superior customer service to patients.

Role includes data entry, handling billing when needed, and travel to additional sites. Two‑week California training required; quarterly incentive bonus program and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid California phlebotomy license or be eligible to obtain one.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, and to travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient data.
