Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 2067 West Vista Way, Suite 275, Vista, CA 92083. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups and handling specimens for testing.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with rotating Saturdays. You will provide excellent patient service, enter data accurately, and may travel to additional sites as needed. Valid CA Phlebotomy license required; prior Labcorp experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California Phlebotomy License.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
