Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 23961 Calle De La Magdalena, Suite 230, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm, with potential extra hours and rotating weekends.

You will perform blood collections, collect specimens, enter patient data, and provide exceptional patient service while supporting billing and administrative tasks. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
• Experience as a phlebotomist is preferred (1+ months).
• Experience with Labcorp is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
