Job summary

Labcorp in Laguna Hills, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups, at multiple sites, with opportunities to expand your clinical skills.

This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule with variable start times, a quarterly incentive program, and comprehensive benefits. California licensure is required, prior Labcorp experience preferred, and the position involves travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state license (CPT) required.
• 1+ year experience as phlebotomist preferred.
• In lieu of license, apply for phlebotomy license at hire may meet requirement.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
