Job summary

Global Technical Talent, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist Floater for a 7-month contract in Avon, CT. The role focuses on drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining patient trust and safety across multiple sites.

Onsite position with leadership duties and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have five years of phlebotomy experience, strong patient communication skills, and the ability to manage high-volume workloads in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is required in CA, NV, WA.
• Medical training as medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a trusting environment.
• Provide coverage at multiple locations and lead on-site teams as needed.
• Ensure daily activities across locations are completed accurately and on time.
• Lead and mentor staff, acting as coach and on-site point of contact.
• Collaborate with Sales, Lab Testing, IT, Billing and Logistics where needed.
