Job summary

ICONMA is seeking a Phlebotomist Floater for our Avon, CT client site. You will perform blood draws, prepare specimens, and maintain patient trust while following procedures. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service in a fast-paced medical testing environment.

Prior phlebotomy and data entry experience are valued. This is an on-site position with growth opportunities. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential as you coordinate with clinicians

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
3–5 years of phlebotomy experience required.
Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service setting preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.

Responsibilities

Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
Explain procedures to patients and ensure a safe, accurate collection.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors and maintain patient confidentiality.
Perform daily activities under supervision, maintain records and a professional environment.
Assist with clinical and forensic specimen collection following established procedures.
