Monday – Thursday: 8 am – 5 pm, Friday: 8 am – 3 pm

Job Description:

• The Phlebotomist III - Float represents the face of our company to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing following established practices.
• Provides direct patient contact, creating trust and explaining procedures to ensure safe and accurate blood draws.
• Responsible for coverage at multiple locations and roles, ensuring daily activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Demonstrates leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information.
• May work in various settings including doctor’s offices, patient centers, home visits, and long-term care, acting as a leader and mentor to staff.
• Handles complex cases requiring advanced phlebotomy skills and strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience:

• At least five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Preferred: 3+ years in a patient service center or inpatient/outpatient environment.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry skills required.
