Job summary

Labcorp in Astoria, OR is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our diagnostic team. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collections across ages, with a Monday–Friday schedule, hours between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, and occasional Saturdays and travel to additional sites.

You will ensure proper specimen handling, enter patient data accurately, assist with billing as needed, and provide courteous service to patients while working independently or with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently or with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Standardized color blindness test required.
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
