Job summary

LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings in East Brunswick Township, NJ is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and various specimen tests. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation.
• Be at least 21 years’ old.

Pay and Incentives

Pay Range: $17.75 - $27.19 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.

Benefits

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement and employee stock purchase plan. Employees with less than 20 hours and other categories have limited benefits as described.
