Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across age groups. The role includes obtaining specimens for screens and tests, data entry, and handling billing information while maintaining accurate logs and ensuring excellent patient service.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with Labcorp offering incentives such as a PST plan and travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or previous LabCorp experience.
• 2 or more years of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation.
• Be at least 21 years old.

Pay and Incentives

Pay Range: $20.00–$27.00 per hour.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, and internal equity and market data.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
