Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float in Santa Rosa, CA. The role performs blood collections, collects specimens for tests, enters data, and provides excellent patient service across multiple sites. Schedule is Monday to Friday, hours from 6:00am to 6:00pm with overtime and rotating weekends as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a California Phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred candidates have 1+ year of phlebotomy experience and prior Labcorp experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
