Job summary

Labcorp in Florida is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, collect specimens for tests, and deliver exceptional patient service while ensuring accurate data entry and specimen handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and phlebotomy training or 3+ months experience.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for tests and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system and process billing when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen data.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients and travel to additional sites as needed.
