Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float for San Clemente, CA. You will perform venipuncture, collect samples for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry. The role requires strong customer service and reliable transportation for travel between sites.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a California CPT phlebotomy license. Preferred candidates have 1+ year of phlebotomy experience and prior Labcorp exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and assist with payments as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
• Assist with clerical duties and operate under supervision as needed.
