Job summary

El Rio Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect samples, perform venipuncture, and process laboratory orders for testing. You will provide excellent customer service to patients and support a professional laboratory environment.

The role involves drawing blood, ensuring quality control, and using the practice management and EHR systems. The schedule includes Tue-Fri 10am-7pm and Sat 8am-2pm, with a salary range of $17.57–$26.35 per hour depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certificate from an accredited program or minimum 2 years of phlebotomy/MLA/PCT experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture blood draws for all ages.
• Monitor quality control of supplies and equipment.
• Verify insurance using intranet and PM system.
• Greet patients, check in, collect co-pays, and manage postings.
• Prepare collection instructions and ensure proper sample labeling.
