Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture blood draws for patients of all ages.
• Monitor quality control on supplies and equipment at all drawing sites.
• Verify insurance information using computer systems and phone.
• Greet patients, check in, collect co-pays, and manage postings and cash handling.
• Prepare and provide instructions for collection of patient samples.
• Enter laboratory orders into the EHR/LIS and reference labs systems.
• Deliver stat or critical results to clinicians as needed.
• Maintain logs for phlebotomy, PKU, redraws, temperature, and critical/panic events.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment per policy.
