Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float to join our team at Banning Street in Dover, DE. Schedule: Monday–Friday with hours between 5:00am–5:00pm and rotating Saturdays.

You will perform venipuncture, collect various specimens, accurately enter data, and provide exemplary patient service while supporting multiple sites as needed. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team and pass a color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
