Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. The role requires phlebotomy certification or training and offers a 25-hour work week with a schedule across weekdays and Saturdays, including travel to additional sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
