Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist at Concord Pike in Wilmington, DE. The role supports multiple sites with schedule variability, Monday–Friday hours, and rotating Saturdays.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, enter data, and assist with billing and specimen processing. The candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred phlebotomy experience or certification, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
