Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections, ensure accurate patient data entry, process billing when needed, and maintain focused customer service for diverse patients. Travel to additional sites may be required.

The role offers growth opportunities within Labcorp’s global network, with a schedule that includes Monday-Saturday, AS NEEDED, up to 19 hours per week, and a strong benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned
