Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Waycross, GA. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service in a patient-facing role at either a Patient Service Center or Client office.

The role involves collecting specimens, handling data entry, and may require travel to additional sites. A valid phlebotomy credential or training, and flexibility to work varied hours, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
