Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Johns Creek, GA team. The role involves blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, with travel to additional sites as needed and a casual/per diem schedule.

You will work at Patient Service Centers or client offices and provide exceptional customer service while handling specimen processing and data entry. A phlebotomy certification and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
