Frederick Health Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect specimens (blood, urine, culture) according to physician orders, ensuring patient safety and proper labeling.

You will enter patient demographics for registration and order entry, and assist in resolving unusual test orders by coordinating with laboratory personnel. Compliance with CLIA guidelines is required for bleeding times where applicable.

Competenze

• HS diploma or GED required; phlebotomy training preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required by site policy.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred when available.
• Valid driver’s license required except for inpatient areas.

Mansioni

• Collect specimens (blood, urine, culture) per physician order with correct ID and labeling.
• Enter patient demographics and order data; resolve unusual orders by contacting staff.
• If bleeding times are required, meet CLIA qualifications for moderate complexity testing.
