Job summary

Labcorp in Memphis, TN is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections, specimen processing and accurate data entry. You will provide excellent patient service and may assist with billing when needed. Travel to additional sites is required as needed.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification or completed training program, with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for growth within Labcorp's patient services network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
