Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Athens, TN. You will perform blood collections, enter patient data accurately, and provide excellent service to patients across settings.

The role includes travel to additional sites and supporting billing and administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and either phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience, with strong communication and reliability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Accurately enter patient information into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
