Labcorp in Nashville, TN seeks a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and patient service. You will collect specimens, enter data, process billing info, and travel to additional sites as needed.

The role requires phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months experience, a high school diploma, and excellent customer service. The schedule is Mon-Thu 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-3pm, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist are required.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills in written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
