Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Powell, TN team. This role requires collecting blood samples from patients of all ages, performing proper processing of specimens, and ensuring accurate patient data entry.

The position emphasizes outstanding customer service and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with potential travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
