Job summary

Labcorp in Springfield, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team on a part-time basis. The role includes blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and patient service across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: LabCorp experience or 6+ months phlebotomy experience.
• Must be able to pass color blindness test and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
