Job summary

Aspiring Talent Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Greenwich, CT. Schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. The assignment is projected for 3 months with potential to convert to permanent status.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, data recording, and proper specimen handling per protocol. Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience required; EMT/OSHA/DEP compliance expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 12 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED minimum 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and matches lab requisitions to specimen tubes.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling, temperature control, and transport integrity
