Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and updates patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique with needles.
• Match requisitions to specimens, package specimens for transport, and maintain specimen integrity.
• Attend annual trainings and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations; handle inquiries by phone.
