Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks individuals to assist with blood collection at fixed site locations, using healthcare and customer service skills to welcome donors and follow safety procedures. Paid phlebotomy training is provided, with opportunities to grow healthcare skills within the nation’s leading humanitarian organization.

You will work a standard schedule of 4x10 hour shifts with rotating weekends, with variable start times across mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on donor

Qualifications

• Associates degree OR combination of education and work experience required.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in public setting.
• Current, valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take time to connect with donors and explain the impact of donations.
• Work with teammates to ensure a welcoming environment for donors.
• Be detailed oriented to ensure blood collection meets goals and safety standards.
