Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Phlebotomist in Vista, CA for a contract position with the potential to become permanent. The schedule is 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with possible weekend shifts and a rotation.

The role includes mileage reimbursement and benefits are available. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, maintaining records, and ensuring proper specimen handling and transport according to protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge and process specimens.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Package and store specimens per test orders.
• Comply with OSHA/ DEP regulations and attend trainings.
