Henderson Group in Vista, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Shifts run 6 AM–6 PM, weekdays, with weekend rotation and mileage reimbursement.

The role requires a valid state Phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, maintaining data, and clearly explaining procedures to patients.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED 1-4 years of experience

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination and updating patient information as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity per protocol.
