Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners in Vista, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role includes performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring proper handling and transport. Shifts are 6 AM–6 PM, Monday to Friday, with some weekend rotation; a clean driving record and reliable transportation are required. Compensation is $20.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens, centrifuging as needed.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination; update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store per required temperatures and protocols.
