Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Lewisville, NC. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and act as the face of Labcorp to patients and clients.

The position requires phlebotomy certification or relevant training, with a preference for 1+ year experience. Travel to additional sites may be required; excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1+ year phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
