Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Lewisville, NC. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and delivering accurate patient data and service at the point of care.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with potential travel to additional sites. The position requires phlebotomy certification or equivalent training and a strong commitment to quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
