Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Raleigh, NC team. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain accurate patient records while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and a phlebotomy certification or training, with potential for overtime and travel to other sites as needed. Candidates who are bi-lingual may have an advantage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program or 6 months’ or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned
