Zusammenfassung

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Midlothian, VA. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities include blood collection by venipuncture, handling specimens, data entry, and providing excellent patient service, with potential travel to other sites.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
